President Prabowo Subianto has announced that 352 TNI soldiers are set to participate in the military parade commemorating the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. The announcement was made prior to his departure from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta. Indonesia is honored by the invitation from the Indian government, allowing Indonesian troops and Akmil cadets to be part of the front row in India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will include 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is scheduled to meet with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss bilateral cooperation, including an MoU on collaboration in areas like health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Meetings with Indian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Indonesia are also planned during his visit.
